Everest is looking for experienced, professional and motivated team members to join our dynamic garden centre team that is located in the Saugeen Shores area between Southampton and Port Elgin.
We specialize in large caliper trees and shrubs with over 30 years of experience in the wholesale and retail industry.However we don’t just sell trees and shrubs….. we also offer many other products like perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, planters, tropicals, home décor, mulch, soils and much much more.
Everest is looking for help in the following positions:
(Full Time Seasonal)
Plant sales associate – Duties include: Plant maintenance and care, advising on plant selection, assisting customers, general garden centre operations. Plant training/knowledge required.
General Requirements of Everest Team Members:
- Enjoys being cold, wet but mostly sweaty
- Happiest with dirt under finger nails
- Summer goals of a t-shirt tan
- Loves dogs and giving pets and doesn’t mind dog hair
- Likes to wrestle long water hoses
- Knows to plant the brown side down
- Tolerates most bugs and the occasional toad
- Can count and do basic math (fingers and toes accepted)
